Educated in Italy, England and the Netherlands. Lived and worked as well in Paris and California. She lernt 7 languages. She is currently living at Villa Flora, Branik in the Wine Country of Slovenia (Central Europe). Lately she has been very much attracted by explosive energy of the South-East Asia. Followed by stays in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bali, Indonesia. And collaborations with Asian galleries as Instinc in Singapore. She earned her M.F.A. in Painting from Academie Minerva in Groningen, The Netherlands in 1995. She is a member of Slovenian Artist Association since 1996. She had many exhibitions in different countries as in Italy, The Netherlands, Slovenia, USA, South Africa, Spain, France and Singapore. E mentr'Egli pronuncia i suoi incantesimi misteriosi sui Non-Essere che non hanno ne' occhi ne' orecchi, ecco, essi cominciano a smoversi e a fremare; e i figli del Nulla, pei suoi incantamenti, rapidi corrono a frotte verso le contrade dell'Essere, danzando a gioia. E quando Egli di nuovo recita incantesimi sublimi agli esseri, questi come rapidi destrieri, corrono ancora nel Nulla. Ad ogni attimo il mondo si rinnova, e noi siamo ignari del suo rinnovarsi, perche' troppo rapida corre, come la scintilla che tu fai girare rapidissima con la mano. Se abilmente fai girare una torcia, sembrera' un lungo continuo cerchio di fuocco: la dispiegata lunghezza del tempo non e' che la rapidita' dell'atto creatore di Dio, e' prodotto fenomenico della rapidita' del creare!"

Tjaša: "I view my work as a continuation of the concerns of expressionism. Colour is the main concern in my paintings, exploring the emotional and expressive qualities. My colours are used freely and vibrantly. The paintings vibrate with the contrasts of warm and cold, light and dark, bright and dull. I am an avid traveller, and I capture the essence of the places I visit in vibrant abstracted pictures. Gardens with lush vegetation and ornaments, busy landscapes with swirling clouds, a coloured square of Burano island; Through my use of colour and shape I captivate the viewer with my joyful celebration of life through my art."
