In this time of the year Piran is just so beautiful. Specialy the skys with all different clouds.

view from Piran's church, Slovenian coast is only about 46 km long, but very beautiful and many places are still intact.

These days were perfect to go swimming for the last time for this season. Air temperature was about 25 degrees, sea temperature was about 23 degrees and what was most wonderful about it was

that while swimming in the Slovenian sea one could see the whole chain of the Italian Alps and there was already first snow on them!!! Very enjoyable.

And of course a plate of spaghetti with sea food and a glass of crisp Malvazia wine at a restaurant away from the tourist area....

.................................................................................................................................very enjoyable!!!

The rules were, one could stamp 2 canvasess from 1 Sept. on and bring only one painting to the show, deliver it by 7 Sept. at 4 pm. And as the Old Piran is closed for traffic, this is how you bring your painting in... by carrying it!

The evening of the 8th September was the official opening ceremony of Ex Tempore

with contemporary dance performance on the Tartini square

visited by many many people......
